WALL QUILT BIG BLACK

This is a one-off, unique wall quilt hand crafted with linen. It has been created with a combination of hand stitched needle turned appliqué panels and hand block printed and painted elements.

The design has been hand quilted along the colour boundaries - also known as "stitching in the ditch" - so that the quilting lines are invisible from the front and do not interfere with the overall simplicity of the piece.

The interior batting is 100% cotton. The quilt is finished with a hand stitched natural coloured linen binding.

The quilt is backed with white cotton fabric, and comes complete with a hanging sleeve on the reverse and a wooden dowel that is simply rested on two nails for ease of display. Hanging instructions accompany the artwork.

The piece is signed on the front in stitch with my initials, E.C.R, and comes accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
